Insurance: Please check with your car insurance company that you have full coverage that works in North America, and make sure that your coverage extends to rental cars and camping vans specifically, prior to renting a camping van. Carry it with you and have proof of it when you arrive. Renters with less than full coverage will be responsible for anything not covered by their own insurance. Insurance provided by credit card companies are not valid as they do not cover camping van rentals. Upon pickup of vehicle and signing our agreement, you fully acknowledge you have the proper car insurance and are responsible for any extra damages that occur during your rental.

Reservation/Security Deposit: A refundable hold of $200 is charged to your card at the time of vehicle pickup and is fully refundable less any damage, loss of equipment, cleaning, refueling. For bookings that are canceled with less then 24 hours notice the initial deposit will be forfeited.
All vans are to expected to be returned with the same amount of gas it was rented out in, otherwise the appropriate amount will be deducted to put the van at the previous gas level plus an additional $20.00.
Driver License: All drivers must possess a valid driver license.
Authorized Drivers: Only drivers listed on the contract are allowed to drive. All listed drivers must be present at time of vehicle pickup with their driver's license.
Payment: Payment of all rental charges are due upon pickup of the vehicle. Payment must be made by Credit Card or Debt Card (MasterCard or Visa). No personal checks will be accepted. No partial refund will be given for late pickup or early return.
Vehicle Pickup and Return: Vehicles are available for pickup by appointment 7 days a week. Vehicles must be picked up (and dropped off) at our location in Kailua on the island of Oahu. We can provide shuttle service from the airport, or give directions to taxi driver or we can tell you how to take the bus.
Airport pickups and dropoffs: Airport pick up (and drop off) is available and recommended, it's $40.00 each way. You will be picked up in your new home and taken back to our place in Kailua on the windward side where you can begin your adventure towards the northshore or enjoy the very lovely beaches close by. Once your time camping is pau, meet up in Kailua and we will drop you back off at the airport or Waikiki. It's about a half hour drive to the airport.
Shuttles and taxis are about $60.00, the bus is $2.25. Using TheBus is a transfer in Honolulu at Alakea St., and can take from 1 to 2 hours depending your location; don't bring much more than 2 carry-ons or they won't let you on the bus.
Travel Area Restrictions: Driving on unpaved, dirt roads and off road areas is not allowed. Renter is liable for all damages to vehicle, tires, towing charges and other expenses as a result of a breakdown associated with operating in these areas.
General Restrictions: Smoking is not allowed inside the vehicles. Evidence of smoking is subject to a minimum $200 cleaning charge.
Towing of anything with a camper van is prohibited at all times.
Parking & Traffic Violations: Driver is responsible for all parking and traffic violations incurred during their rental period. If we receive notice of an unpaid parking or traffic violation we will send you a copy of the summons, and bill your credit card accordingly.
Rental Extension: If you would like to extend the rental period, please contact us by ASAP by telephone before your return date.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be made in writing or email, and you must make sure you receive confirmation from us in writing or email. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the date of pickup and no shows will also lose their deposit.
If a van is returned early after renting it out, the rental fees paid will not be refunded regardless of how many days left in the rental, only deposit may be refunded (after return and inspection of vehicle).
