Terms and Conditions
Reservation Deposit: A $200 reservation deposit is due at time of booking and is payable through Paypal: to oahucampingvans@gmail.com . This is non refundable and will be deducted from the cost of your rental.
Payment: All rental charges are due upon pickup of Camper Van. Payments must be paid in U.S. Dollars by Cash, Cashier's Check, Travelers Check, Credit or Debit Card. Sorry, we don’t accept American Express, Diners Club or personal checks.
Driving License: All drivers must possess a driver license valid for the entire rental period and a major credit card. An international driver license is recommended for foreign tourists. Only drivers listed on the contract are allowed to drive. All drivers and their drivers’ licenses must be present at time of vehicle pick up.
Vehicle Pickup and Return: Vehicles are available for pickup by appointment 7 days a week, and must be picked up and dropped off at our location in Kailua. We can provide airport/hotel transportation if needed.
Travel Area Restrictions: Driving on unpaved areas is not allowed. Renter is liable for all damages and towing charges incurred due to operating in unfavorable conditions.
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the camper van. Evidence of smoking is subject to a minimum $200 charge.
Towing: Towing of anything is prohibited with a camper van.
Rental Extension: If you would like to extend the rental period please contact Oahu Camping Vans.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations and no shows forfeit their reservation deposit.
Early returns: No refunds are given for early returns after acceptance of the vehicle.
Insurance: All drivers must carry proof of insurance upon pick up of camper van.
Security Deposit: For drivers with full coverage insurance a temporary $200 hold will be placed on your card. For drivers with less than full coverage insurance a temporary hold of $1000 will be placed on your card. These holds will be released upon Oahu Camping Vans inspection of camper van less any cleaning or damages that occurred during rental period regardless of fault.
Injuries, Death and or Dismemberments: Regardless of fault, If costs of damage exceeds the deposit, renter is fully liable but not limited to costs incurred due to Injuries, Death, and or Dismemberments, and also court fees incurred by Oahu Camping Vans and all parties involved.
Fuel Policy: A full tank of gas is purchased at the time of rental. The Service is convenient because the renter does not have to worry about taking time to stop and refuel before returning the car (there is no credit for remaining fuel).
